inventRight LLC ("inventRight," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or use our services.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you fill out a contact form, book a consultation, enroll in a program, or communicate with us. This may include your name, email address, phone number, and information about your invention.

When you browse our website, we and our service providers may also process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, referring pages, and interactions with the site. Optional cookie-based analytics are subject to the choice described below.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services; communicate with you about your account or our services; send you marketing communications (with your consent); and comply with legal obligations.

Email Communications and Anti-Spam Policy

We do not send spam. We follow the CAN-SPAM Act and other applicable email laws in every message we send, and we do not sell, rent, or share our email lists with third parties for their own marketing. You may receive three kinds of email from us:

Service messages: Account, booking, enrollment, billing, and support emails needed to deliver something you asked for. These are not marketing messages and continue for as long as you have an active relationship with us.
Marketing and educational email: Newsletters, program announcements, and offers. We send these only to people who have subscribed, asked us for information, or done business with us, such as by booking a consultation or enrolling in a program.
Outreach on behalf of inventors: As part of our coaching and Gateway programs, inventRight team members contact companies that license new products to introduce an inventor's product. These are business-to-business messages sent to professional contacts whose details come from publicly available sources and business data providers, and they are limited to that introduction and reasonable follow-up.

Every marketing or outreach email we send:

Identifies inventRight and the team member sending it, with accurate sender and reply-to addresses
Uses a subject line that honestly describes the message
Includes our postal mailing address
Includes a working unsubscribe link or a plain-language way to decline further contact

Opting Out

You can stop marketing or outreach email from us at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any message, replying to the message and asking us to stop, or emailing privacy@inventright.com. You may opt out of a single series of messages or of all marketing email from us. Opting out is free, and we honor every request promptly and in all cases within 10 business days. Once you opt out, our systems block the messages you opted out of and remove your address from the affected email sequences. We keep opted-out addresses only to make sure we do not email them again. Service messages may continue when they are needed to provide something you have requested.

Reporting Spam

If you receive email from inventRight that you did not expect, or email that claims to be from us but is not, please forward it to privacy@inventright.com. We investigate every report, suppress any address that should not have been contacted, and fix the cause. We send email only through reputable email service providers whose own terms also prohibit spam.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use them to keep the website working, remember your choices, and, when you accept optional cookies, understand how visitors use the site and improve our pages.

Required cookies: These support sign-in, security, fraud prevention, payment processing through Stripe, and your saved cookie preference. They remain available when you reject optional cookies.
Google Analytics: With your acceptance, Google Analytics uses cookies such as _ga and cookies beginning with _ga_ to distinguish visits and sessions, measure page views, and help us understand site traffic. Google processes this information as our analytics provider.
Page testing: With your acceptance, our ir_ab_vid cookie assigns a randomly generated visitor identifier so we can compare versions of a page and measure actions such as form submissions. This cookie lasts up to one year.
Embedded videos: We use Vimeo's Do Not Track setting and YouTube's privacy-enhanced player for our public video embeds. Video providers receive technical information when their players load or you play a video, and may use cookies needed for playback and security. Your interactions with their services are also covered by their own privacy policies.

We also use Vercel's cookie-free website analytics and performance measurements to understand overall usage and identify technical problems. These measurements begin when a page loads and continue regardless of your cookie choice.

Your Cookie Choice

Choose Accept in our cookie notice to enable optional Google Analytics and page-testing cookies, or Reject to leave them disabled. If you have not saved a choice, optional cookies are accepted automatically after the notice has been displayed for 30 seconds. Google Analytics and page testing begin only after you choose Accept or that automatic acceptance occurs. A saved Reject choice is never automatically changed to Accept. We remember either choice in the required ir_cookie_consent_v1 cookie for up to one year on that browser. You may see the notice again if that cookie expires, you clear your cookies, or you use another browser or device.

You can change your choice at any time using the button below or Cookie settings in the website footer. Rejecting optional cookies stops future optional analytics and page testing and removes the associated cookies we control. It does not delete information already collected. You can also manage or delete cookies in your browser; blocking required cookies may affect sign-in, payments, or other site features.

Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information with service providers who assist us in operating our website and conducting our business, subject to confidentiality agreements.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
