Brad Kons
Outreach Manager at inventRight Gateway
Cincinnati, OH

Brad Kons has licensed multiple ideas. As an Associate on the Outreach Team at inventRight Gateway, he helps inventors and entrepreneurs connect with companies to commercialize their ideas and scale their products.
He discovered his knack for understanding how products sell at retail, where he learned the fundamentals of product placement for the Walmart account. Later, he transitioned into web design and digital marketing, continuing to refine his creative and design skills.
His inventive spirit sparked at a young age. As a 13-year-old constantly chewing on his pens in class, he thought: Why not flavor the cap? That curiosity laid the groundwork for a lifelong fascination with product ideas and innovation.
During college, Brad was inspired by classmates who had licensed simple ideas for profit, but his real breakthrough came after reading The 4-Hour Workweek by Tim Ferriss—an early inventRight student—which solidified his passion for product licensing.
“Being creative and sharing the same goal—to release your creativity and see your product on a store shelf—automatically binds you together,” Brad says. “It’s like nothing else I’ve experienced. Once I got to know the inventRight community as a member, I knew I wanted to be part of it full time.”
Outside of his creative work, Brad enjoys staying active—whether that’s working out, fishing, kayaking, cycling, or enjoying a round of frisbee golf with friends.
