Clark Bish
Project Manager at inventRight Gateway
Eastampton, NJ

Clark Bish is a serial entrepreneur and designer who turned his love of creativity into a thriving business. In addition to inventing and pitching new ideas for products, he is the founder and artistic director of the second largest haunted house in New Jersey. In 2020, his ingenuity was celebrated by national news outlets when he turned his attraction into the first drive-thru haunted house, making it safe to attend during the pandemic.
Creativity runs in the family. As a child, Clark remembers helping his father — who ran his own contracting business — venture his ideas for new products on the side. He learned the value of hard work and was bit by the creative bug. Today, he describes creativity as “his edge.”
“I look at what everyone else is doing and I turn the other direction,” he explains. He loves form and function, and can fix anything in his house. He frequently collaborates with his wife — a former graphic designer — and his son, who is currently studying animation in university. After venturing a couple of his own ideas for new products, he was excited to learn about the licensing business model because it limits risk and allows him to focus on being creative.
After dedicating himself to mastering the licensing process, Clark is excited to coach other inventors because he loves helping people overcome failure. Teaching martial arts for many years taught him the value of inclusiveness and how to motivate others to learn and grow. Working in customer service taught him how to enjoy working with many different kinds of people and how to tailor an experience to best serve the needs of the individual.
When he is not inventing, he enjoys fishing and camping.
