Martin Lombardini is an entrepreneur and a patented inventor. A first-generation American who was raised in New York City, he credits his hard-working parents with inspiring him to become an entrepreneur.

When Martin realizes there is a better way of doing things, he does not hesitate to take action. After moving to Tennessee in 2003 to work for a financial products company, he started his own firm in the same industry shortly thereafter to provide better service to his clients. He founded a second company in 2008 to conduct real estate and financial transactions. When Martin learned about the licensing process and inventRight around 2017, he made the courageous leap into an entirely new line of work.

“Greatness is not found in a comfort zone. That's just something that I completely live by. Once I get to a place where I'm comfortable and things are great, it's time to shake it up and tear it apart, because you can only become great if you are pushing yourself to the limits,” he explains.

Martin had been writing down his ideas in a journal for at least 15 years before he realized he could teach himself the skills required to become a full-time professional inventor. After studying the inventRight process, he licensed his first product for the toy and game industry in 2019. He is also inventing for the aerospace industry.

“Inventing, for me, is about the challenge. I feel adrenaline when I get an idea and when I believe in something. There's so many different facets to doing this, whether it's the marketing, the IP, the prototyping, the reaching out, all of it... it's such a dynamic industry. It's always different. It's never the same, never cookie cutter, and I really enjoy that. It’s exciting and challenging!” he says.

He has found the inventing community to be incredibly welcoming and supportive.
