Licensed an packaging innovation with inventRight coaching support

How inventRight coaching helped Kevin L’Hereux and Keith Elliott bring the Fishbone paperboard can carrier to market

Co-inventors Kevin L’Hereux and Keith Elliott worked closely with inventRight — drawing on coach Paul Sorenson’s guidance — to finalize a licensing agreement for Fishbone, their paperboard multi-pack carrier. Designed to replace plastic rings and shrink overwrap while using less material than typical cartons, Fishbone adds billboard-ready branding space and keeps sustainability front and center. Their approach turned a complex packaging concept into a commercialized solution now poised to help bottlers, retailers, and consumers choose a more responsible option.

It’s been an incredible journey, one that could not have taken place without inventRight. I must say that WE did a good job today. Without the efforts of yourself, Keith and Paul we would not be where we are today. A great team is priceless. Looking forward to the future.

The Fishbone is a bottler, consumer and eco-friendly beverage packaging device designed to replace not only plastic multi-pack LDPE (Low-density polyethylene) rings, HDPE (High-density polyethylene) caps and shrink film overwraps; but also reduce the amount of material used in multipack cartons made from the same paperboard material.

The Fishbone provides new billboarding opportunity not available with rings and caps, as well as decreasing consumer frustration all while being socially and environmentally responsible.”
