Mary Ellen

Mary Ellen has recently retired from "working for the man". Having given 30 years to the financial industry as a corporate trainer at two of the top five banks in the United States, she is now turning her talents to freelance writing, assisting small businesses with marketing plans, product development and playing with grandchildren. Freelance writing is not new to Mary Ellen. When her twin boys were young she stayed at home and wrote for several business publications and a law magazine. Her background also includes time as an internal auditor, compliance officer and process engineer. She has traveled internationally to train acquired businesses and is proficient at instructional design and enjoys the challenge of creating infographics. Other distraction favorites include working outdoors, swimming, hiking, riding ATVs, reading, crafting and having fun with family and friends. Mary Ellen lives in New Kent County, Virginia with her husband, Michael and an orange tabby, Lord Baelish, and a calico named Calla. She and Michael have four grown children and five grandchildren.
